Data we collect
Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message. You provide this data voluntarily and it is required to answer your request (fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory).
Technical data: while you browse, our hosting provider automatically records in its server logs your IP address, the date and time, the pages viewed and your browser type, for security purposes and to keep the website running properly.
Preferences: your language choice (FR/EN) and, where applicable, your consent to display the Google Maps map are stored in your browser (see our cookie policy).
The website collects no payment data and uses no audience measurement or advertising tools.
Purposes and legal bases
Answering your information and quotation requests: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Ensuring the security and operation of the website: TRABAT's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
Remembering your display preferences: your own choice, expressed through the language selector or the map display button.
Recipients
Messages sent through the form are forwarded by email to TRABAT and are read only by the people in charge of customer relations. They are never sold, transferred or rented to third parties. Our hosting provider O2SWITCH (Clermont-Ferrand, France) processes technical data as a processor, within the European Union. If you choose to display the map on the Contact page, Google Ireland Ltd (Google Maps) processes your IP address under its own privacy policy, which may involve a transfer of data outside the European Union governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Retention period
Messages received through the contact form are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, and for a maximum of three years from our last exchange if no contract is entered into. Where a contract is signed, data is kept for the duration of the business relationship and then archived in accordance with legal obligations (ten years for accounting records). Server logs are kept for a maximum of one year. Preferences stored in your browser are kept for no more than twelve months and can be deleted at any time from your browser settings.
Security
Exchanges between your browser and the website are encrypted (HTTPS). The contact form is protected against automated submissions and the data you send is never displayed publicly. Access to the mailbox receiving your requests is restricted to authorised TRABAT staff.
Your rights
Under applicable regulations you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to set instructions regarding your data after your death. You can exercise these rights by emailing gtrabat [at] gmail [dot] com or by writing to TRABAT, 261 Chemin de la Boal, 83310 Grimaud, France, with proof of your identity. We will reply within one month. If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr).
Updates
This policy may be amended to reflect legal changes or changes to the website. Last updated: October 2026.
