Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by the website you visit. The website trabat.fr has been designed to respect your privacy: it uses no advertising cookies, no audience measurement tools and no social network trackers. This is why no consent banner is imposed on you.

The following items are stored in your browser solely to remember a choice you have made. They are exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the guidelines of the CNIL.
"lang" (cookie and local storage): remembers the language (French or English) you selected with the FR/EN switch. Duration: 12 months. If you have made no choice, the language is inferred from your browser settings without storing anything.
"map" (local storage): remembers your consent to display the Google Maps map on the Contact page so that we do not ask you again. Duration: until you delete it.

The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps. It is not loaded automatically: it is only displayed after you click the "Show map" button. Until you click, no data is sent to Google and no Google cookie is placed. By displaying the map, you accept that Google Ireland Ltd receives your IP address and may place its own cookies, in accordance with its cookie policy.

You can delete the cookies and site data stored by your browser, or block them, at any time from its privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). Blocking cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website; only the memorisation of your chosen language and of the map display will stop working. For any question: gtrabat [at] gmail [dot] com.
